About

An evidence-first directory, built by an engineer.

True North Vibe is a directory of business coaches and consultants that treats trust as something you show, not something you say. It is built and run in New York's Mohawk Valley by NORENTIR LLC.

Who's behind it

True North Vibe is founded and run by Matthew Renodin — twenty-five years in software engineering, a junior engineer at the start and a principal engineer today, most of it building systems that had to hold under scrutiny. A Mohawk Valley native, he built the directory the way an engineer evaluates anything: write down what you expect, demand evidence over impressions, and label every claim by how it's known. Two long-form pieces explain that lens in his own words: how to choose a business coach like an engineer and what 25 years of software engineering taught me.

What the site holds itself to

  • Every claim shows how it's known. Profile signals carry their tier — stated, vouched, shown, or measured — so you can see whether a credential is a self-claim, an attestation, an inspectable artifact, or an outcome the platform observed.
  • No star ratings, no pay-to-rank. A provider can pay to be seen. A provider cannot pay to be trusted. Paid placement is always labeled and never reorders trust.
  • Blanks stay blank. Where we don't have evidence, the profile says so — an honest gap beats a manufactured signal.

The mechanics — where profiles come from, how claiming works, what payment can and cannot buy — are spelled out point by point on how it works.

The company

The website is operated by NORENTIR LLC, a New York limited liability company. Questions, corrections, and anything else: [email protected]. Providers can read what claiming a profile gets you; seekers can start with the 3-minute interview.
