Last Updated on 2026-07-08
NOTICE: Please read the Privacy Policy set forth below carefully, as it is designed to provide important information on how and why we collect, use, store and share your personal information. It also outlines the rights you can exercise regarding your personal information and how you can contact us if you have any questions or complaints.
The Privacy Policy set forth below is legally binding. By visiting, viewing or using this website and/or by using any program, product, course or service from us, you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy.
Your privacy is important to True North Vibe, https://truenorthvibe.com ("website"), which is operated by NORENTIR LLC, a New York limited liability company ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").
We use the term "personal information" to refer to data we collect that may, directly or indirectly, identify, describe, relate to or be associated with you. This Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") applies to personal information we collect when you interact with us, including by visiting and using our website. The term "you" refers to any visitor, viewer or user of the website and/or any user of any Product. Please note that we cannot control the privacy practices of websites and services that we do not own. This Privacy Policy was created with the help of Plug and Law and Privacy Policy Solutions.
A NOTE ABOUT LISTED PROFESSIONALS
True North Vibe is a directory. Some listings describe coaches, consultants, and related professionals and are compiled from publicly available business sources before any such professional creates or claims a listing. The business contact details shown in those listings are published as business directory information. If you are a listed professional, you may claim, correct, or request the removal of your listing using the process described in our Terms of Service and Disclaimer, or by contacting us using the details below.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE COLLECT IT
Information You Provide. We collect information you provide to us directly. This includes information you provide when you (i) create an account or claim or create a listing, (ii) sign up to receive any emails, (iii) communicate with us, (iv) fill out any forms, (v) respond to any survey, or (vi) contact us through any other means. Examples of data we may receive include your name, email address, a hashed (scrambled) password held by our sign-in system, business information you publish in a listing, and other information you provide to us through communications. We never store your password in plain text.
Information Collected Automatically. We collect some data automatically when you visit or use our website or open or respond to our emails, such as your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you visit, the searches you run, the referring website, and the date, time and length of your visit.
Information from Third Party Sources. As described above, certain listing information is compiled from publicly available business sources. We may also collect data when you interact with us on a social media platform.
PURPOSES FOR COLLECTING INFORMATION
We use your information for business and commercial purposes, including to: create and authenticate your account; publish, maintain and improve directory listings; connect seekers with providers; provide customer service; respond to inquiries, reviews and feedback; secure our website and data; provide promotional and marketing communications if you elect to receive them; improve the design, functionality and ease-of-use of our website; detect and prevent fraud and other malicious, deceptive or illegal activity; and comply with applicable law and respond to legal and regulatory inquiries.
SERVICE PROVIDERS WE SHARE INFORMATION WITH
We share information with the service providers needed to operate the website. The Company's current providers are:
- Keycloak — our self-hosted sign-in and authentication system; it holds your account login details.
- Cloudflare — delivers our pages quickly and protects the site against attacks; it processes your IP address and request data in transit.
- IONOS — our email provider, used to send account and support emails.
- Our own managed server environment, which hosts the website and its PostgreSQL database.
- Google AdSense — Google's advertising network, which serves the third-party ads that help keep the directory free. When advertising is active and you consent, Google and its partners may process your IP address, device and browser data, and ad-interaction data through cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads. See Google's Privacy & Terms and our Cookie Policy.
Introduction requests. When you ask us to introduce you to one or more listed professionals, we share the information you submit in that request (such as your name, contact details, what you're looking for, and any budget or timeframe you choose to include) with the professionals you selected — that is the purpose of the request. Professionals pay us a fee for this introduction service. We only share your request with the professionals you chose.
We do not currently use a third-party analytics tool; if we adopt one, we will update this policy first. Payments for paid features (such as lead unlocks and subscriptions) are processed by Stripe, our payment processor: Stripe receives your payment-card details and billing contact information directly, and card data never touches our servers — see Stripe's privacy policy. Third-party advertising is provided by Google AdSense as described above and is governed by your consent choices. We may also share information with government agencies, courts, regulators and law enforcement where required to comply with applicable law or legal process, or to establish, exercise or defend legal rights. If our website or business is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, your personal information may be a transferred asset.
SELLING AND SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information for money, and we never disclose it to data brokers or advertisers for their own use. When you request an introduction, we share your request with the professionals you selected at your direction, and those professionals pay us for the introduction service — we treat that as a disclosure you directed, not a sale. However, when third-party advertising is active and you have consented to personalized ads, the use of advertising cookies by Google AdSense to show interest-based ads may be considered a "sale" or "share" of personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and comparable state laws. You can opt out at any time using the "Your Privacy Choices" link in our footer ("Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information"); choosing it keeps any ads non-personalized. If you decline advertising cookies, or before you make a choice, no such sharing occurs.
COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
We use cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies — for example, the authentication and session cookies that keep you signed in and secure — are necessary for the website to function and are always active. Advertising cookies — set by Google AdSense to serve, measure, and (with your consent) personalize ads — are not loaded until you accept them on our consent banner; under Google Consent Mode they default to off. You can decline them, opt out of personalized advertising via "Your Privacy Choices," or block or delete cookies in your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent you from signing in. Our Cookie Policy describes each category in more detail.
YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
Your rights. You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, give you access to it, correct it, or delete it and close your account. To make a request, contact us using the details below; we may need to verify your identity first, and we will not treat you worse for exercising any right.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. When personalized advertising is active, you can exercise the opt-out using the "Your Privacy Choices" link in our footer; it sets your preference to non-personalized ads. We honor these requests and will not treat you worse for exercising any right.
Other states. Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and other states with comparable privacy laws have similar rights. We honor those requests the same way — just contact us.
Managing "Do Not Track". Our systems are currently unable to recognize browser "Do Not Track" signals.
Email marketing. If you sign up for emails — including when you complete our seeker interview, which delivers your report plus occasional new matches and coaching insights — you can opt out at any time using the "unsubscribe" link in each email or your email provider's one-click unsubscribe button. Unsubscribing from marketing does not unsubscribe you from transactional emails about your account.
DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information for as long as your account is open or as needed to operate our business, until you ask us to delete it, subject to legal requirements. Routine server logs are kept for a limited time and then rotated out. We cannot control the data retention policies of third parties.
THIRD PARTY LINKS
As an inherent part of a directory, we provide links to third party websites, including the websites of listed professionals. We cannot and do not control the privacy policies, content and practices of any third party websites we link to. We encourage you to review their privacy policies directly.
HOW WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We maintain reasonable and appropriate physical, technical and procedural safeguards to help keep your personal information safe. However, no method of transmission over the internet or other network can be 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee that personal information you transmit will remain secure from misuse or interception in all circumstances.
A UNITED STATES SERVICE
Our website is intended for individuals located within the United States. We do not target, market to, or intentionally serve users in the European Union. Our servers and service providers are located in the United States, so your information is governed by United States law. If you access the website from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with your local laws.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
This website is not directed towards or designed for use by children. It is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us for removal.
CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. We will post the effective date of the latest version at the top of this page, at which point changes become immediately effective. Your continued use after the Privacy Policy is amended constitutes your acceptance of the amended policy.
